Tickets for this workshop have a special reduced pricing due to support from Stadt Graz. Tanzebene is a 175m2 studio located in the 3rd floor of DaT Probenhaus, a multi-studio space provided free of charge for performing artists. Workshops are allowed to take place in Tanzebene only under strict circumstances and we are very grateful to have the opportunity to partner with DaT Probenhaus in hosting this Contemporary Weekend Workshop.

ANNA POUPOVÁ

I am professional dancer, choreographer and teacher from Prague, where I teach and choreograph for several dance studios. My main style is contemporary dance, but I am more than open to other dance styles so I usually let them to slightly influence my creative work. I also get opportunities to work with Czech artist as a performer in their music videos or directly on their music performance. 

My classes usually consist of warmup and stretching techniques, to prepare body for all types of movement We are going to use during the rest of the class, to prevent from any injuries or muscle pain. After that I love to do some floor work exercises or improvisation lines, to prepare body for movement, using all the body parts and muscles. The main part of the class is the choreography, which include quality movement, dynamics changes, floorwork and basic technique skills.

AMBER ROSE

Amber Rose Morgan is professional dancer from the UK. She attended the Urdang Academy in London and have previously trained at Spirit Young Performers Company and Trapdoor Theatre Academy. She is trained in various different styles and loves everything from commericial to ballet but has to admit that tap might be her ultimate favorite. She now runs her own dance company and training program, Amber Rose Dance Academy (ARDA), and is in the process of opening her very own studio in Vauxhall!
