Travel with us to London for a week of intensive dance training and networking with industry professionals. Foundations On the Road: London gives dancers from Austria the opportunity to explore the dance world in one of the industry’s biggest hubs.
THE WEEK.
You’ll spend 1 week in London, dancing at two of London’s largest studios: Pineapple and Manor, having a sparkling night out at a West End show, and gaining valuable insights from professional dancers and choreographers.

Program Cost:
The program cost is €1,850.00 total (including VAT).
The program cost covers:
Roundtrip flight
Accommodation in London at Locke Living: Kingsland Locke
Roundtrip airport transfer via Uber in London from and to Heathrow International Airport
Dance photoshoot with personalized creative direction
Pointe shoe fitting at Bloch or Freed (pointe shoe purchase not included)
West End Show

The program cost does NOT cover:
Food and drinks

Program Spots and Supervision:
The group leaders for this program are Genie Patrathiranond and Sarah Krainberger. The max amount of dancers that we allow on our On the Road programs are 9 dancers to every 1 group leader.
The max number of dancers for Foundations On the Road: London is 18.

Co-owner of Foundations Dance Collective.
Sarah is 21 years old and originally from Graz, Austria. She graduated from the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and currently teaches Ballet, Contemporary, and Pointe in Graz. Her favorite dance styles are Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz.

Co-owner of Foundations Dance Collective.
Genie is 28 years old and originally from Los Angeles, California. She currently lives in Graz, Austria and works in the Marketing and Dance industry. Her favorite dance styles are Jazz, Contemporary, and Commercial.
London Living
Accommodation:
All dancers and group leaders will be staying at the stylish Kingsland Locke near Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction stations, with easy links into town. Rooms are double occupancy with two twin beds.

Foundations On the Road is our dance trips abroad program tailored for dancers who are working on becoming pre-professional or professional. The goal is to introduce student dancers to the dance world and industry in large cities such as Los Angeles, New York, London, Berlin, Paris, etc. All trips currently depart from Vienna and are geared towards dancers from Austria.

This program is recommended for dancers ages 13-35.

The group leader to dancer ratio is always no more than 1:9, which means every dancer who joins us will have a personalized experience catered to their age, level, interest, and experience.

Every dancer will receive a personalized dance class schedule. Once you are officially registered, our team will send you an assessment and personal info form. This form will ask you to self assess your skill level in each dance style. The group leaders will then use your self assessment to create a well-rounded dance class schedule that is catered to your style preferences and skill levels.

In order to book a pointe shoe fitting, you have to provide our team with a signed letter from your dance teacher that you are allowed to be on pointe. Alternatively, you can have our team do an assessment in person in Graz or via video call. After, we'll be able to book you a pointe shoe fitting at Bloch or Freed.

Dancers are paired based on age. If you’re coming with a friend, you can of course request each other as roommates.

Dancers living outside of Austria are also welcome to join! However, keep in mind that we depart from the Vienna International Airport and transport to and from the Vienna International Airport is not included in the program fee.

This program is open to dancers of all styles. However, because this is an intensive dance program, we do recommend that you exhibit an int/adv level in at least 1 style. This can be anything from ballet and contemporary to commercial and heels. Your dance class schedule will be organized by the Foundations team depending on your age, level, interest, and experience.

Refunds
Once this official registration is purchased there are no refunds. No exceptions!
Dancers may transfer their registration to another participant with approval from the Foundations team. To do this, please email us at hello@foundationsdancecollective.com. Transfer of registration is only possible until Saturday June 29, 2024. No transfer requests will be accepted afterwards.
A minimum of 10 dancers must be registered for this program to take place. If the minimum number of registered dancers is less than 10, then the program will be cancelled and all registration fees will be refunded.
Spots are limited and first come, first serve. Your spot is only reserved after you submit the program contract and purchase the binding non-refundable registration.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine verbindliche und nicht erstattungsfähige Anmeldung für das Programm Foundations On the Road: London 2024: Eine einwöchige Tanzintensiv in London vom 26. Oktober bis zum 2. November 2024, offen für Tänzer*innen aller Stile. Alle Teilnehmenden fliegen vom Flughafen Wien International ab.
Empfohlenes Niveau und Alter
Dieses Programm wird für TänzerInnen ab 13 Jahren empfohlen. Tänzer*innen sollten ein int/adv Niveau in mindestens einem Stil aufweisen können. Dies kann alles sein, von Ballett und zeitgenössischem Tanz bis hin zu kommerziellem Tanz und Tanz auf Absätzen. Der Stundenplan für die Tanzkurse wird vom Team von Foundations je nach Alter, Niveau, Interesse und Erfahrung zusammengestellt.

RÜCKERSTATTUNGEN
Einmal gekauft, sind keine Rückerstattungen möglich. Es gibt keine Ausnahmen!
TänzerInnen können ihre Anmeldung mit Genehmigung des Teams von Foundations auf eine andere Person übertragen. Um dies zu tun, sende uns bitte eine E-Mail an hello@foundationsdancecollective.com. Die Übertragung der Anmeldung ist nur bis Samstag, den 29. Juni 2024, möglich. Nach diesem Datum werden keine Übertragungsanfragen mehr akzeptiert.
Mindestens 10 TänzerInnen müssen für dieses Programm angemeldet sein, damit es stattfinden kann. Wenn die Mindestanzahl an angemeldeten TänzerInnen weniger als 10 beträgt, wird das Programm abgesagt und alle Anmeldegebühren werden erstattet.
