In this 2 hour interactive workshop dancers will learn about health and wellbeing, injury prevention, how to reach their max performance potential, dance science research and its impact today, resources for dancers in Europe, and mental and physical training techniques. Dancers of all levels are welcome.

Sandria STornig
Sandria Stornig (she/her) is a dance artist, teacher & movement/sports scientist(M.Sc.) based in Austria.
Her areas of specialization include dance sciences*, community dance projects, choreography and movement direction, gender studies, female athlete health, mental training techniques as well as health promotion through movement and dance for people of all walks of life.
Incorporating diversity and creativity, Sandria's work is guided by a holistic approach that blends artistic expression with science-based principles. Her experience includes work with professional dancers, pre-professionals, and non-professional movers in Austria and abroad. As a performer, Sandria has worked with the Australian Contemporary Circus "Circa" , Le Compagnie XY (FR) , Lin Verleger (DE) and others. Upcoming performances include "Le Grand Macabre" at the Vienna State Opera in autumn 2023.
