Travel with us to London for a week packed with all things dance. Foundations On the Road: London gives dancers from Austria the opportunity to explore the dance world in one of the industry’s biggest hubs. 

THE WEEK.

You’ll spend 1 week in London, dancing at two of London’s largest studios: Pineapple and BASE, having a sparkling night out at a West End show, and gaining valuable insights from professional dancers and choreographers.

Program Cost:

The estimated program cost is 1,600€ total. This is an estimated cost (+/-100€) due to fluctuations in flight and hotel rates. Once all spots are filled or registration deadline is reached, we will inform you of the final and exact cost. 

The final cost has been calculated and is 1,700€ (including VAT).

The program cost covers:

  • Roundtrip flight

  • Accommodation

  • Public transportation within the city (TFL Network)

  • Dance classes at Pineapple and BASE (4-5 classes a day) 

  • Dance photoshoot 

  • Pointe shoe fitting at Bloch (pointe shoe purchase not included) 

  • Organized group activities 

  • Experienced group leaders

The program cost does NOT cover:

  • Food and drinks 

  • Free time activities 

  • Private transportation (Uber, Taxis, etc.) 

  • Transportation to and from airports 

  • Dancewear and/or supplies 

  • Travel insurance

  • Health insurance

Program Spots and Supervision: 

The group leaders for this program are Genie Patrathiranond and Sarah Krainberger. The max amount of dancers that we allow on our On the Road programs are 8 dancers to every 1 group leader.

The max number of dancers for Foundations On the Road: London is 16.

  • Sarah Krainberger

    Co-owner of Foundations Dance Collective.
    Sarah is 21 years old and originally from Graz, Austria. She graduated from the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and currently teaches Ballet, Contemporary, and Pointe in Graz. Her favorite dance styles are Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz.

  • Genie Patrathiranond

    Co-owner of Foundations Dance Collective.
    Genie is 28 years old and originally from Los Angeles, California. She currently lives in Graz, Austria and works in the Marketing and Dance industry. Her favorite dance styles are Jazz, Contemporary, and Commercial.

London Living

Accommodation: 

All dancers and group leaders will be staying at the stylish Locke at Broken Wharf near Millennium Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Tate Modern. Rooms are double occupancy. 

Room features:

  • 18m2 with a king sized bed 

  • Kitchen with stove, fridge, and microwave  

  • Private and fast Wi-fi

This program is open to dancers of all styles, however, we do recommend that you exhibit an int/adv level in at least 1 style. This can be anything from ballet and contemporary to commercial and heels. Your dance class schedule will be organized by the Foundations team depending on your age, level, interest, and experience.

Let’s go to London! Secure your spot by filling out the registration form below. Once the registration form is submitted, you enter into a binding agreement and are officially registered for the Foundations On the Road: London program. 

  • Registration Deadline: Friday June 30, 2023 (ONE SPOT LEFT! REGISTRATION STILL OPEN)

  • Info Session: Saturday July 15, 2023

    The info session will take place in Graz, Austria
    Video call option will be available for those who are not able to attend in person.

  • Payment Deadline: July 31, 2023

RefunDs

  • Once the official registration form is submitted, no full refunds are given. No exceptions.

  • Partial refunds are given for cancellations made before or on Friday 23:59 CET August 25, 2023

    • 75% of the estimated program fee must still be paid. This is equivalent to 1,200€. No exceptions.
